Anthony J. Groothousen, 86 of Tony, died on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

He is survived by is wife Marion, 6 children; Mark (Kim) of Mauston, Kevin (Marye) of Anoka, MN, Lorilyn (David) Sterba of Tony, Tracy (Tony) Lampman of Viroqua, Monte (Kim) of Tony and Matthew (Angie) of DeForest, 16 grandchildren, 6 brothers and sisters; Cornelius of Honduras, Cathy Selvig of Ladysmith, Bernadette (Ed) Ohnsorg of Shakopee, MN, Phillip (Shirley) of Port Washington, Larry (Shannah) of Cambridge, MN and Joe (Nancy) of Ladysmith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Gert Collier and brother Peter.

Mass of Christian Burial  will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 2, 2021 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Tony with Fr. Vijay Kumar Madani and Deacon Craig Voldberg officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, August 1 ^st at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith where a Scripture Service and Rosary will begin at 7:00 PM. There will also be an hour of visitation from 10:00 AM until service time on Monday at the Church in Tony.
