Bradley Gene Ludescher "Brad" passed away at home Friday, March 13, 2026, at the age of 61 surrounded by family. He was born August 28, 1964 in Ladysmith WI and graduated Flambeau High School in 1983. Brad fought cancer with courage and determination.
Brad grew up in Sheldon, WI, where he was known for his strong work ethic and love for the outdoors. He worked various jobs, including delivering the newspaper, working on local farms, and concrete work. His true passion was in the woods hand cutting and running the packer.
Known for his warm personality and generous spirit, Brad was always ready to lend a helping hand. He lived life to the fullest and cherished his moments spent with family and friends along the way.
He is survived by his mother, Marlene. His brothers: Brian (Jacquie), Stuart (Lisa), of Sheldon. Royal J. (Stacey) of Bloomer and sister Brenda of St Paul Park, MN. He also leaves behind seven beloved nieces and nephews: Chad, Brett, Lacey, Trista, Shelby, Brittny and Kahlei as well as fifteen great-nieces and nephews, and two great-great nieces.
He is preceded in death by his father, Royal, and his beloved dog, Dusty.
Those that had the pleasure of knowing Brad will truly miss him. Though he may not be with us now, his memory will live on forever through the lives he's touched.
Family would like to thank Hope Hospice for the excellent care of Brad, Jim & Jeremy Allard for his journey in faith, everyone that has supported the family during this time, and Nash-Jackan Funeral Home for funeral arrangements.
The memorial service will be held Saturday, May 2, 2026 at the Sheldon Church of Christ. Family invites friends to gather from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., with the memorial service beginning at 12:00 P.M. Burial will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Sheldon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hope Hospice or charity of your choice.
