Carl E. Plaza, 93, formerly of Hawkins, WI, died Sunday, May 28, 2023 at Care and Rehab Ladysmith.

He is survived by son: Tim & Sue Plaza of Birchwood, WI and two daughters: Nancy & Dan Wilson of Holcombe, WI and Sue & Dan Kempen of Bruce, WI, six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents: Michael & Viola (Sobieski) Plaza, wife: Alice and grandson: Kyle Kempen.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 23, 2023 St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hawkins with Fr. Dave Oberts, Fr. Papi Reddy Yeruva and Deacon Craig Voldberg concelebrating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Church Cemetery in South Fork.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Thursday, June 22 at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith where a time of sharing will begin at 6:00 PM. There will also be an hour of visitation beginning at 10:00 AM on Friday at the church in Hawkins.
