Carol E. Abbiehl, 88 of Sheldon, WI; died on Wednesday; May 9, 2012 at The Cornell Area Care Center. She is survived by 5 children; Alvin Abbiehl & Brenda Rudd of Eau Claire, WI; Bernie & Holly Abbiehl of  Glen Flora, WI; Barb Bailey of Iowa; Ivan & Sharon Abbiehl of  Tony and Rose & Doug Borntrager of Cadott, WI. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 3 sisters; Mildred Petersen, Edna Florke and Eunice Zeitler. Funeral Services will be held on Monday; May 14, at 1:00 PM at The Nash - Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith with Rev. Linda Shearer officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Sheldon. The Abbiehl family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Sunday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Monday for an hour prior to service time.
