Cary James Effertz, 66 of Largo, FL, died on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Accent Care Hospice in Largo following kidney & liver failure.

Cary is survived by his wife JingPing and 6 brothers; Paul of Eau Claire, WI, Don (Carol) of White Bear Lake, MN, Larry (Julie) of White Bear Lake, MN, Matthew (Rose) of Largo, FL, Jerry of Clearwater, FL and Greg (Stephanie) of Indian Rocks Beach, FL and 2 sisters; Diane (Joe Suski) of Charlotte, FL and Darlene (Scott Vernig) of Mounds View, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents Matthew & Florence (Sykora) Effertz and a sister-in-law Carol (Huse) Effertz.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, August 2, 2024 at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Weyerhaeuser, WI with Fr. Ed Anderson and Deacon Tom Fuhrmann officiating. Burial will follow in the SS. Peter & Paul Church Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be from 2:00 PM until service on Friday at the church.
