Charles R. Plantz, 71, of Ladysmith, WI, passed away at home on Friday, January 2nd, 2015.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Plantz of Ladysmith, children; Cindy & Jeff Hecker of Menomonie, MI, Mallory & Nic Hanson of Altoona, step-children; Sheri & Clark James of Cornell, and Scott Brandstetter of Ladysmith, 2 brothers and 5 sisters; Bonnie Stream of Clayton, Sharon & Larry Trussoni of Genoa, Jerry of Ladysmith, Judy of East Lansing, MI, Carol & Eric Hillan of Ladysmith, Don & Jody of East Lansing, MI and Rebecca of Scottsdale, AZ. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 6th, 2015 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Conrath, WI with Fr. George Stamm officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Ladysmith. The Plantz family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday at the Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM. There will also be an hour of visitation on Tuesday at the Church prior to services.
