Christopher “Kit” Heil, 72, of Tony, Wisconsin, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Marshfield Medical Center - Eau Claire.

He was born September 22, 1953, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a son of Bill and Marcy Heil. Kit was a devout Catholic. He worked as an over-the-road truck driver for more than 20 years and was an avid golfer who loved to read and spend time at the library.

Kit was very loved by his siblings, who were at his side when he joined his parents and brothers in heaven.

He is survived by 6 siblings; Michael (Nancy); Rae Anne (Glenn); Dean; Lori (David); Billy (Gerry); Sarah (Chris); sister-in-law Wendy Heil; aunt Mary Heil; special friend Jayno; and his nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Marcy Heil, and his brothers Andy, David, and Jay.

Per Kit’s request, his life will be celebrated privately with family.
