Dan William Stoneberg, 74 of Ladysmith, died on Monday, December 11, 2023 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home - Chippewa Falls after a 1½ year illness with cancer from past agent orange exposure.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie, 2 sons; Joshua Stoneberg of Rockford, IL and Eric Bsumek of Salt Lake City, UT, 1 step-son; Jim (Kelly) Engelhardt of Bruce, 1 step-daughter; Gina (Bo) Baxter of Flint, TX, 9 grandchildren; Salvador Stoneberg, Eli Stoneberg, Kaya Farnworth, Will Bsumek, Italia Bsumek, Evyn Engelhardt, Rian Engelhardt, Cruz Baxter and Christian Baxter, 1 great-granddaughter; Delilah Farnworth, 2 brothers; Dave (Denise) Stoneberg of Bellwood, PA and Allan Stoneberg of Ladysmith, 1 brother-in-law; Tod (MaryJo) Wise of Minong, 1 sister; Robin (Greg) Swoverland of Ladysmith, 1 sister-in-law; Sue Stoneberg of Ladysmith and his nieces and nephews; Rick Stoneberg, Vicky Stoneberg, Jeff Stoneberg, Jenny Stoneberg, Jessica Stoneberg, Searra Keach, Jami Carter, Luke Stoneberg, Trevor Swoverland and Kori Ewer.

Dan is also survived by special friends; Paul & Joany Peterson, Gloria McGahey, Phil & Linda Strop, Dean & Lorna Meyer; Rick & Sheree Carr and Ron & Kerrie Bauers and his beloved dog, Cash.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Harry & Rita Stoneberg, 1 brother; Mark Stoneberg and 1 sister; Vicky Stoneberg.

A celebration of life will be held later this winter. He will be laid to rest at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner at a later date.
