Daniel J. Gudis, 79 of Ladysmith, passed away on April 12, 2025, at the Marshfield Medical Center in Ladysmith.

Dan is survived by his wife Kathryn (Andrew) Gudis, 2 children: Brian Gudis (Lisa Gorsegner) and Dana Gudis (Nick Brown), six grandchildren: Cory (Kimberly) Gudis, Michael Gudis (Kristina Princl), Kayla Gudis, Logan Gudis, Hannah Wiles, and Zachary Wiles, six great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Eli, Raelynn, Rhykor, Remmington, and Colt. Dan is also survived by his brother, Gary Gudis of Ladysmith, and his sister, Susan (Dave) Golat of Ladysmith, along with one niece and one nephew.

He was predeceased by his parents, George & Loretta (Bratina) Gudis.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Ladysmith, followed by a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am officiated by Fr. Papi Reddy Yeruva and Deacon Doug Sorenson. A military salute by the Vacho-Lybert Amvets/Rusk County Honor Guard will follow the service at the church. A luncheon for family and friends will be held at JS Supperclub in Ladysmith, immediately following the service and military honors.
