Daniel J. Rydlund, 50 of Ladysmith, passed away unexpectedly.

Remaining to honor Dan's memory are his beloved wife Amy; his cherished children Brendan (Madeline) Rogers, Camryn (Mitchell) Rogers, and Grant Rydlund; precious granddaughter Ada Rogers; his loving sister Carrie (Monte) Abbiehl and other siblings Katie (James) Plendl and Andrew (Hannah) Rydlund; brothers in law Aaron (Krista) Sahlin and Adam (Melissa) Sahlin; nieces Hannah (Tyler) Sarauer and Sophie Sahlin; and nephews Dylan (Emma) Abbiehl, Gabe, Colton, and Caleb Sahlin; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Preceding Dan in death are his parents LaVonne Rydlund and James (Julie) Rydlund; grandparents Francis and Dorothy Swaenepoel; and uncle Bill Swaenepoel.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Ladysmith with Fr. Papi Reddy Yeruva and Deacon Craig Voldberg officiating. Military honors will immediately follow the service at the church and will be provided by the Rusk County Honor Guard.

Visitation will be held from 8:30 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday at the church.
