Darlene R. Sieg of Tony, Wisconsin passed away surrounded by her family on March 4, 2026 at the age of 70. Darlene was born on May 1, 1955 to Albert and Arthea (Randolph) Kochevar of Sheldon, Wisconsin. Darlene married Paul Sieg on December 11, 1976 and had 4 beautiful children. She enjoyed spending time with her family (especially her grandbabies), playing music, sitting in the sunshine, gardening, reading, and spending time on the lake.
She graduated from Mount Senario College with her teaching degree and taught at Our Lady of Sorrows School for over 30 years. Darlene was dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrow School and Church by assisting on many committees, helping to keep books at sporting events, playing organ and piano at mass, and helping in so many other things that needed to be done. She earned the Elizabeth Ann Seton award for her dedication to Catholic education excellence, faith, and service.
She is survived by her husband Paul, her children Jennifer (Dave) Rivard, Heidi (Mike) Middendorp, Amanda (Justus) Busse, and Daniel (Lori) Sieg. Her grandchildren Tyler (Maggie), Alyssa, Grace, Isabella, Abigail, Olivia, Mason, Megan, Lizzie and Lincoln. And her sister Deb Wojcik. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Joseph Kochevar, and her grandchildren Lucas Miller and Jade Miller.
Visitation will be at Our Lady of Sorrows Church on Monday, March 9, 2026 from 4:00-7:00 pm with a prayer service beginning at 6:00 pm and also on Tuesday, March 10 from 10:00 am until service. Mass of Christian Burial will begin on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in honor of Darlene to Our Lady of Sorrows Church or School.
A special thanks to Our House Memory Care in Chippewa Falls Wisconsin and Heartland Hospice for taking such good care of our wife, mom, and grandma.
