David J. Nelson, 68, of Ladysmith, died on Sunday, October 23rd, 2016 at Clearwater Care Center in Eau Claire.

David is survived by three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by five sisters: Elaine & Glenn Galetka of Glen Flora, Marilyn & Bob Kudingo, Betty & Jim Parker, Debbie & Kevin Sillman and Julie & Howard Schreiber: all of Ladysmith. Four brothers: Terry & Judy, Tom & Kara, Scott & Peggy: all of Ladysmith and Larry & Judy of Altoona.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 28th, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. at the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church in Ladysmith with Pastor Bryan Johnson officiating along with Military Burial Rites to be provided by the Ladysmith Veterans Association. The Nelson family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 3:30 P.M. until service time.
