David Lloyd Witter, 71 of Ladysmith, peacefully passed away at his home on Wednesday morning, March 5, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Fred Lloyd Witter Jr. and Phyllis Landphier Witter, first cousins Diane and Scott Landphier and Linda Cohen; and his sister-in-Law, Nancy Witter.

Survivors include two children and four grandchildren: Jacob Lewis Witter, his wife Anka and their daughters, Matilda and Josephine of Leipzig, Germany; and Ashley Marie Maczko, her husband Ash, and their sons Wolf and Hawk of Fox Lake, IL, wife, Rita Witter; devoted friend, Pamela Karasek, siblings: Robert Allan Witter, James Frederick (Pauline) Witter, and Phyllis Jean (Wayne Borowitz) Witter, nieces & nephews, Bobbie Jo (Troy) Hicks, Paul (Amy) Witter, Christopher Gutierrez and Dianne Gutierrez, great-nieces & nephews, countless friends.

Plans for a graveside service in Butternut, and a celebration of life in the Madison area with an announcement of details to be forthcoming.
