Dennis Jerome Mai, 85 of Ladysmith, WI, died Monday, September 29, 2025 at his home.

Survivors include his wife: Kathy, three sons: Christopher Mai of Weston, WI, Jerold (Lisa) Barna of Eau Claire, WI and Robert (Katie Hraban) Barna of Ladysmith, WI, three daughters: Carrie Jones of Oxford, WI, Lynn Wisniewski of Merrill, WI and Annette Barna (Dave Blackstock) of Ladysmith, WI, 17 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one brother: Richard Mai of Eleva, WI.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents: Ernest and Marcella, son: Mark Barna and three sisters: Mary Ann Bluem, Sr. Monica Mai and Elaine Sheehan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Ladysmith with Fr. Joseph Kumar Mayakuntla and Deacon Craig Voldberg celebrating. A luncheon will be held at Armstrong Pavillion in Memorial Park after the service.

Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday morning starting at 9:30 A.M with a Rosary being said at 10:30 A.M.. Burial will be at a later date in St. Anthony's Church Cemetery in Tony, WI.
