Donald A. Benson, died on his 83rd birthday on Saturday; Novemeber 17, 2012 in Bruce.

He is survived by his wife Shirley, 5 children: Nancy (Dennis Reinhold) Benson of Woodville, WI; Cindy (Tom) Buenning of Green Bay; Patti (Karl)Vick of Elko, MN; Richard (Roxanne) Benson and Chris (Kim) Benson, all of Bruce; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; his former wife Lorraine; 7 step-children, 23 stepgrandchildren their families and 1 sister Hazel (Tony) Ring of Thorp.

Funeral services for Don will be held on Tuesday; November 20th at 11:00 AM at Nathaniel Lutheran Church in Bruce with Pastor Joel Olsen officiating. Burial with Military Rites provided by The Bruce American Legion will be in the Bruce Cemetery. The Benson family will receive friends at The Nash - Jackan Funeral Home in Bruce after 4:00 PM on Monday and then at the Church on Tuesday for an hour prior to service time.
