Donald N. Birdsill

Donald Neal Birdsill, 91 of Birchwood, died on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Shell Lake Health Care Center in Shell Lake. He was born on May 16, 1935 in Hillsboro to Luke & Jean (Erockovich) Birdsill.

He is survived by his wife; Elvera (Goff) Birdsill, 3 children; Sharon (Jim) Widiker, Curt Birdsill and Donny (Marilou) Birdsill, 6 grandchildren; Boyd (Stephanie) Birdsill, Alicia (Andy) Hannawell, Derek (Angie) Birdsill, Corey (Lindsey) Birdsill, Andrew Widiker and Kate (Tyler) Back, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 sister; Nancy Jandrt.

Don was preceded in death by his parents; Luke and Jean Birdsill and a sister; Janet Aspseter.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 22, 2026 at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Bruce with Rev. Mark A. Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in Windfall Cemetery in Exeland. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
