Donald Reed Wallace Sr., age 79, of Bruce, Wisconsin, passed away at his home on October 27, 2026 after battling several illnesses for most of his adult life. He was born on November 19, 1946, in Carrollton, Missouri, to Leon “Wally” and Julia Mae Wallace.

Donald moved to the Bruce area in the winter of 1998, where he made his home and spent the remainder of his years. On May 4, 1999, he married Karen Charlesworth in Bruce. They shared many years together until her passing on July 20, 2023.

Donald enjoyed the outdoors and his favorite pastimes included hunting, fishing, watching wildlife, and shooting pool. These interests brought him enjoyment throughout his life.

Donald is survived by his children, Donald (Theresa) Wallace, Jr. of Simpsonville, South Carolina; Ronald (Mai) McCluskey of Downers Grove, Illinois; Sheri Wallace of Bruce; and Tabitha (Matthew) Torphy of Bonduel, WI. He is also survived by his mother, Julia and sister, Nancy Wallace both of Las Vegas, Nevada; 18 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen; his father, Leon; his brothers, Rolla C. Wallace and C.L. Wallace.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Bruce, Wisconsin. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post #268 Bruce, WI following the visitation at the Bruce Park Veterans Memorial Mural Wall.
