Dorothy J. Barker, 78 of Tony, WI; died on Monday; September 8th, 2014 at Golden Living Center in Tomahawk, WI.
She is survived by her husband Glen; 2 sons: Duane & Ann of Rice Lake, WI and Brian & Laurie of Aurora, NE; 5 daughters: Louanne & Keith Cantrell of Granbury, TX; Wendy & Gary Stelter of Stanley, WI; Judy & Roger Lundvall of Reno, NV; Sherrie & Larry Kostka of Maple Grove, MN and Tammy & Troy Haenel of Tomahawk; 18 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 6 sisters: MaryJane & Ted Duchnowski of Ladysmith, WI; Betty Hanusa of Madison, WI; Peg & Tom Grede of Milwaukee, WI; Evy & Don Smrstick of Ladysmith; Monica & Jack Melberg of Minneapolis, MN and JoEllen & Jerry Lemke of Inver Grove Height, MN.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday; September 13th, 2014 at Glen Flora Lutheran Church in Glen Flora, WI at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Dwight Hanson officiating. The Barker family will receive friends at the Nash - Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Friday and again on Saturday at the church for an hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association and/or Asera Care Hospice.
