Earl L. Phetteplace, Jr. 83, died on Sunday; February 27, 2011 at his home in Ladysmith. He is survived by his wife Vivian and their 5 children; Duane & Joanne of Hawkins; WI, Malon of Sioux City, IA, Kathy & Tom Silvernale, Judy & Mark VanWey and Lisa & Bob Moreau, all of Ladysmith. 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by a brother Larry & Mary of Tacoma, WA and 3 sisters; Florence Dicus and Donna & Calvin Holman; both of Ladysmith and Mabel & Marlin Holman of New Richmond, WI. Also survived by numerous neices and nephews.

Funeral Services for Earl Phetteplace will be held on Thursday; March 3, 2011 at 10:30 AM in St. John's Lutheran Church in Ladysmith with Rev. Gary Lodholz officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Ladysmith. Earl's family will receive friends at The Nash - Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith after 4:00 PM  on Wednesday where there will be a Scripture Service at 7:00 PM. There will also be an hour of visitation at The Church on Thursday  prior to service time.
