Edward "Jay" Schimka, aged 71, of Glen Flora, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield.

He is survived by his wife, Jane; two sons, Richard Schimka of Hinesville, GA, and Bennet (Jorelyn Joy) Schimka of Blaine, MN; his cherished granddaughter, Harper Schimka; and his three sisters, Donna (Jack) Daniels of The Villages, FL, Judith Schettko of Brandon, FL, and Holly (Robert) Nawrocki of Glen Flora.

Jay was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Jean (Ghislin) Schimka.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Ladysmith Christian Church, with Brian Chitwood officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00am until the time of service on Saturday at the church. The family invites you to stay for lunch following the service.
