Esther Viola Petska, 86, of Sheldon, died Saturday; December 22, 2012 at the Rusk County Memorial Hospital in Ladysmith.

She is survived by her 9 children: Daughters: Shirley & Gerald Janowicz, Linda & Jerry Detlaff, Dawn & Philip Fliflet, Diane & Paul Miller all of Sheldon, WI; Carol & Terry Ahren of Ladysmith and Connie Petska & Darin Callahan of Gilman, WI. Sons: Ernest & Diane Taylor of Stanley, WI, Will Jr.& Lynn Petska of Lena, WI and William & Karen Petska of Gilman. She is also survived by a special friend/son: Joel and Donna Jones of Ladysmith, 27 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 3 sisters: Minnie Hale of Milwaukee, WI, Lila LaGesse of New Auburn, WI and Ruth Pulaski of Hayward, WI.

Funeral services for Esther Petska will be Saturday; December 29th at 11:00 A.M. at St. John's Catholic Church in Sheldon with Deacon Craig Voldberg officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemtery in Sheldon. Friends may call Friday; December 28th after 4:00 P.M. at the Nash - Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith and again Saturday one hour prior to the service at the the church.
