Ethel Marie Diederich (formerly Juergens, born Freestone), aged 102, went home to the Lord on March 26, 2023, passing away peacefully while in hospice care at Langton Shores rehabilitation center in Roseville, MN.

Ethel is survived by her sons Gerald Juergens (Gertie) of Everson, WA and Lonnie Juergens (Geralyn) of Mounds View, MN, son-in-law Rodger Loberg (special friend Linda) of Andover, MN, step-daughters Judy Beattie (Ron), Sharon Van Doorn and Shirley Horve and step-son Ron Diederich (Sara), along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Amos and Mary Freestone, all six of her siblings, her husband Walter Juergens, her husband Lloyd Diederich, and her daughter, Charlotte Loberg.

A small memorial gathering will take place at Ethel's Oak Crest residence in the coming weeks.

There will be a memorial service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Ladysmith. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday at the funeral home.
