Ethel D. Scheps, 89 of Cornell, died following a 2-week illness from complications of heart failure on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Marshfield Medical Center - Marshfield.

Ethel is survived by 3 sons; Steve (Debra) Scheps of Ripon, Sherman (Brenda) Scheps of Lapeer, MI and Robert (Ameleo Manuel) Scheps of Loganville, GA, 1 daughter; Susan Bednarczyk of Rice Lake, 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters; Irene Taylor, Rachel Guernsey and Elsie (Ron) Callison.

Ethel was preceded in death by Arnold Scheps on December 8, 2021, her parents; Philip & Emma (Dunahee) Adams, 1 son; Lawrence "Larry" Adolph Scheps, 4 brothers; John, Walt, Lewis and Philip and 3 sisters; Lena, Marge and Mildred.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith with Pastor Bill Barnett officiating. Burial will follow in Bruce Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon on Saturday at the funeral home in Ladysmith.
