Fredrick H. "Fritz" Ewald, 73 of Bruce, died on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at his home under the care of Lakeview Medical Center Hospice.

He is survived by his wife Rose, 2 sons; Charles & Patricia Ewald of Rice Lake and Joseph Ewald of Maple, WI, 4 grandchildren; Kaylynn, Derek, Doris and Jolene, 3 brothers; Wes Ewald of Hoffman Estates, IL, Bob Ewald of Bruce, Mike & Michele Ewald of Ladysmith and 1 sister; Jean Ewald of Cameron.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 siblings; Rose Worman, Lynda Westland and Gerald "Jerry" Ewald.

Private interment will be at Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, Wisconsin.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the Bruce American Legion from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm.  Honor Guard service will start at 11:00 am Saturday. Due to road construction around the American Legion, those attending are asked to park at the Bruce High School parking lot which may be accessed by traveling on N Blackburn Street.
