Gerald J. "Jerry" Checkalski 89; died on Monday; June 13th, 2016 at his home in Weyerhaeuser.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy and their 8 children: Dennis & Bonnie of South Range; David of Sarona; Duane & Liz, Daniel & Melanie, Joel & Billie - all of Weyerhaeuser; James & Sandy of Barron; Jeffrey & Vicki of Andover, MD and Joan & Mack McDonald of Prior Lake, MN. Jerry is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 brothers, Wallace of Weyerhaeuser and Arnold & Phyllis of Rice Lake.

Funeral Services for Jerry will be held on Monday; June 20th, 2016 at
at 11:00 AM at SS. Peter & Paul Church in Weyerhaeuser with Fr. Inna Pothireddy and Deacon Tom Fuhrmann officiating. Burial will be in The Church Cemetery. The Checkalski Family will receive friends AT THE CHURCH ON SUNDAY after 4:00 PM where there will be a Scripture Service at 7:00 PM. There will also be an hour of visitation at the Church on Monday prior to service time.
