Gertrude E. "Gertie" Bonczyk, 85 of Weyerhaeuser, died on Monday, August 19, 2024 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.

She is survived by her 3 children; John (Deborah) Bonczyk of Weyerhaeuser, Sharon Bugella of Frederic, WI and Dave (Tammy) Bonczyk of New Auburn, WI, 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 3 brothers; Larry, Romie and Wally.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank on July 8, 2024, 1 son, Robert and her parents; John & Helen (Sandok) Antczak.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Weyerhaeuser with Fr. Papi Reddy Yeruva and Deacon Tom Fuhrmann celebrating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 23 from 5:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Bruce with a Rosary beginning at 6:30 PM followed by a Scripture Service starting at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will also be held on Saturday morning at the church from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.
