Harold A. Kauffman, age 99, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at the home of his son Arthur and Evelyn Kauffman, where he had been staying for almost four years.

Surviving are their three children, Arthur married to Evelyn (Hershey) Kauffman of Sheldon, WI; Manuel married to Ana Maria (Meza) Kauffman of Halsey, OR; and Joy married to Jose Del Valle of El Dorado Springs, MO, 16 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren, and 23 great-great-grandchildren.

Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene, 13 years and 13 days earlier in 2011. Also preceding him in death were his parents, Alpha and Alma (Nussbaum) Kauffman, five brothers, one sister, and one great-granddaughter.

Visitation will be held at the Sheldon Mennonite Church on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM. The funeral will begin at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 2, at the church with Kirby Zimmerman, Victor O'Valle, and Duane Eby officiating. Interment will follow the funeral at Woodlawn Cemetery in Sheldon with Vernon Martin officiating.
