Harold Martin Thummel, 95 of Ladysmith, died on Friday, January 24, 2025 at his home under the care of Marshfield Medical Center Hospice.

Harold is survived by his wife Elsie (Kostka) Thummel and 2 sisters-in-law; Yvonne Thummel and Shirley (Kostka) LaRose as well as several nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Robert & Emma Thummel, 3 sisters; Marian Maasch, Dorothy Priest and Delores Thummel and 2 brothers; Edwin and Ben Thummel.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith with Rev. Craig S. Zandi officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Harold's name may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church in Ladysmith.
