Obituary
Helen (Lazar) Sisko, 95, of Hawkins died on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Care & Rehab – Ladysmith.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 72 years, Andrew; her children, Dennis (Darlene) Sisko, Bruce (Margaret) Sisko, Andrea (Bern) Lapacinski, Brian (Kris) Sisko, James (Joy) Sisko, Scott (Mary) Sisko, and Jerome Sisko; her brother, Ray Lazar; sister-in-law, Geraldine Lazar; eighteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 17 at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Church in Hawkins with Fr. Inna Pothireddy officiating. Burial is at St. Mary's Cemetery. The wake will be 4:00-8:00 pm on Friday, February 16 at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm. There will also be an hour of visitation prior to the funeral on Saturday at the church.
Memorials may be made to the St. Mary's Altar Society or the Hawkins Area Library.
