Holly had a heart for animals, and every person or critter who came through her door was welcomed with love.
Holly Parker, 52, of Ladysmith, passed away on November 5, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Holly was born on December 9, 1973, in Downers Grove, IL, to Robert Kruppe and Barbara Fitzpatrick. On February 14, 1998, she married the love of her life, Wayne Parker, in Las Vegas.
Holly’s first love was her family: her husband, Wayne, and their children, Justin and Jenisa. Right after them came her pets, and everyone else’s pets too. Holly had a heart for animals, and every person or critter who came through her door was welcomed with love. She loved her home, and she enjoyed gardening and shopping.
Holly fought diabetes from the age of 3 so the struggle of life was very real to her. For the past five years, she fought a long, hard battle with cancer, often in constant pain, yet she faced it with remarkable strength. Two months before her passing, she lost her beloved dog, Walker who is missed so much..
Holly is survived by her husband, Wayne; her son, Justin Parker of Ladysmith; her daughter, Jenisa (Brandon) Parker of Ladysmith; her mother, Barbara Fitzpatrick of Holcombe; her brothers, Robert (Dany) Kruppe of Eldridge, IA, and Levi (Veronica) Moser of Hubert, NC; a sister, Keesha (David) Cicha of Glen Flora; 3 nephews, Xavier Kruppe, Simon Kruppe, and Everett Moser; her niece, Sophia Kruppe; her many fur babies; and her lifelong friends, Sherry Lynn Kruppe and Kim Yoder.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Kruppe; her grandmother, Sophie Kruppe; her aunts, Anna Kruppe, Gloria Clough, Edna McClellan, Sylvia Cabak, and Shirley Kruppe; her uncle, Ronald Kruppe; her cousins, Rodney Kruppe and Adam Kruppe; her father-in-law, Marion Parker; her mother-in-law, Faye Ducommun; and her beloved pets, Bandit, Wishbone, Walker, and Scooby.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Tony with Fr. Ed Kornath and Deacon Doug Sorenson officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time on Monday at the church.
A complete obituary will also be published in the Ladysmith News.
