Irene B. Benik, 84 died on Sunday; January 27th, 2013 at her home in Bruce.

She is survived by 4 children: Dan Benik of AL; Nancy & Vernon Chandler of Bruce; John E. & Jane Benik of Eden Prarie, MN and Carol & Edson Blaisdell of Ladysmith. Irene is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday; January 30th at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bruce with Fr. Chris Kemp officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Irene's family will receive friends at The Nash - Jackan Funeral Home in Bruce after 4:00 PM on Tuesday where there will be a Scripture Service at 7:00 PM. There will also be an hour of visitaion at the Church on Wednesday prior to service time.
