Irene Stine didn’t just live life; she cultivated a home. On February 1, 2026, Irene took her final bow at the age of 99.
A lifelong resident of Ladysmith, Wisconsin, Irene was the person you called when you needed a sensible ear to listen. Whether in the garden, at church, or cooking in the kitchen, she listened with compassion and patience. Her greatest joy, however, was family.
Her legacy lives on in the hearts of daughter, Patricia Elton, granddaughter, Kim Dickinson, and great-granddaughters, Kinsey Martin and Sami Sawyer, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, brother, Paul Kroening, and many more nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 76 years, Clarence Stine, grandson, Russell Meyer, great-grandson, Ryder Meyer and brothers and sister.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Ladysmith with Rev. Craig S. Zandi officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Ladysmith. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Monday, February 23 at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith and again on Tuesday for an hour prior the service at the church.
A complete obituary will be published in the Ladysmith News.
