Jade S. Olson

Jade Shannon Olson, born on August 20th, 1996 was found dead on April 4th, 2026. She was 29 years old at the time of her death.

She was born in Rice Lake, WI, to Rebecca and Nathan Olson. For the first part of her life she attended the Ladysmith School District. She then moved to Georgia for her high school career, graduating from Pebblebrook High School in 2015.

Jade was a true lover of nature. Always walking around barefoot and climbing any tree she could reach, and even some she couldn’t. She loved exploring and adventuring. She had a collection of stuffed animals, all of which were named and loved. She was a caring and thoughtful friend, sibling, granddaughter, and partner.

For a long time she had the aspiration to become a chef, even attending some culinary summer courses at the Culinary Institute of America. Throughout the course of her life, she held many different jobs.

Jade struggled with her mental health for well over a decade, and unfortunately, it caught up to her. She died how she wanted to, surrounded by nature.

She is survived by her sister Sage Olson-Nagel, her sister Alanna Velez, her grandparents Deborah and Gary Johnson, and long term partner Camille. She is also survived by lots of friends and family, who all cared about her deeply.

She was preceded in her death by her parents, Rebecca and Nathan, her brother Wyette, and her uncles Pat and David Scott.
