James E. "Crappie Jim" Gureski 78 of Bruce; died on Sunday; March 30th, 2014 at The Ladysmith Care & Rehabilitation Center.

Jim is survived by his wife Doris and their 3 children: Patrick & Melissa Gureski of Franklin, IN; Nancy & Jeff Stellrecht of Shell Lake, WI and Susan Gureski of Rice Lake, WI. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Emma, Evangeline, Angela, Hannah and Christopher; 2 brothers and 2 sisters: Eugene Gureski of Greenfield, WI; Lawrence Gureski of Shoshoni, WY; Mary Jane Neuendank of Schofield, WI and Patricia Wurth of Remsen, IA. He is further serviced by nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Jim will be held on Friday; April 11th, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bruce with Fr. Chris Kemp officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Church Cemetery. The Gureski Family will receive friends at the Church on Friday from 9:00 AM until service time.
