James E. Hofacker 82 of Ladysmith, died on Friday; May 21, 2010 at The Dove Healthcare in Eau Claire, WI. He is survived by his wife Shirley and their 3 children: Edward of Eau Claire; John of Farmington, MN and Mary Quady of Champlin, MN. 7 grandchildren, 1 greatgranddaughter and 2 sisters: Eileen Howe of Menomonie, WI and Marlys Robole of Inver Grove Heights, MN

A Memorial Service for Jim will be held on Friday; May 28, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Ladysmith with Fr. Jim Bartelme officiating. Friends may call after 4:00 P.M. on Thursday at The Nash - Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith where there will be a Scripture Service at 7:00 P.M.  Friends are also welcome at the Church on Friday for an hour prior to service time. Military Honors will be  provided by The Ladysmith Veteran's Assn.  outside of the Church  following the service. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS: It is requested that Memorials be directed to The Rusk County Animal Shelter Project,  Kinship of Rusk County or Our Lady of Sorrrows Catholic School.
