James W. "Jim" Lieser, 81, of Ladysmith, Wisconsin, passed away on June 10th, 2014 at the Country Terrace Assisted Living Facility in Ladysmith.

Jim is survived by his wife Jean, his daughter Mary Lieser (Tim Reed) of Rochester, Minnesota, his daughter Anne Lieser (Art Thompson) of Buffalo, Minnesota, his son James J. "Jim" (Karen) Lieser of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Jim and Karen's children (Jim's grand-children) Mariah Lieser and Connor Lieser, and Jim's favorite niece Kathy Smith of Portage, Wisconsin.

A memorial service in celebration of Jim's life will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, June 20th, 2014 at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith. A visitation hour will precede the service, beginning at 9:30 AM. Deacon Douglas L. Sorenson of Our Lady of Sorrows parish will be officiating the service. The immediate family will accompany Jim to his final resting place at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Spooner.
