James M. Witkiewicz, 73 of Bruce, died on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Marshfield Medical Center - Marshfield following an illness.

James is survived by 1 son; Michael Witkiewicz of Barron, 1 daughter; Shatina (Brian) Stevens of Barnum, MN, 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 1 brother; Thomas Witkiewicz of Bruce, 6 sisters; Lill Farrar of Atkin, MN, Kate Williams of Bruce, Phillis Gonsowski of Alsip, IL, Annette Witkiewicz of Bruce, Carolin Witkiewicz (Louis) of Rochester, NY and Lisa Witkiewicz (Jeff) of Chaska, MN.

James was preceded in death by his wife Virginia, parents Peter & Josephine (Renne) Witkiewicz, 2 brothers; David and Kevin Witkiewicz and 1 sister; Gwen Long.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at St. Mary's Church Cemetery in Bruce with Deacon Doug Sorenson officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Bruce American Legion. A celebration of life will follow at the Bruce Park Pavillion.
