Jane A. Effertz, 80 of Weyerhaeuser, WI, died Friday, December 30, 2022 in Ladysmith, WI.

Survivors include her husband: John, son: John E., Jr. & Deedee Effertz of Eau Claire, WI and daughter: Joan & Jeff Good of Spring Valley, WI, two grandchildren, brother: Dennis & Sue Madejski of Chetek, WI and sister: Sandy Tant of Stockbridge, GA. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Bob Scott, Ray Scott and Don Scott and three sisters: Caroline Scott, Nancy Madejski and Yvonne Marie (Bonnie) Knowlton-Knaak.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Weyerhaeuser with Fr. Papi Reddy Yeruva and Deacon Craig Voldberg concelebrating. Burial will be in the Twin Lakes Cemetery in Chetek. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5 ^th starting at 4:00 P.M. at the Nash – Jackan Funeral Home in Bruce, WI where a scripture service will be held at 7:00 P.M. followed by a rosary. There will also be an hour of visitation on Friday morning at the church from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.
