Jeanne K. Hess, 74 of Ladysmith, died on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Heritage Lakeside Nursing Home in Rice Lake following a 1-month illness.

She is survived by her husband Leonard, 1 daughter; Kitzie (Herb) Winters of Ladysmith, 2 granddaughters; Gracie and Madison Nelson, her step-father; Bernie Aspenes of River Falls, step-mother; Emma Rude of Gambrills, Maryland, 1 step-brother; Bob (Kathy) Rude of Arizona and 2 step-sisters; Diane (Jerry) Von Seggern of Gambrills, Maryland and Linda (Bill) Berkshire of Crofton, Maryland.

Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents; John Rude and Dorothy Aspenes.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 29, at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith with Deacon Craig Voldberg officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Monday at the funeral home. Burial in Riverside Cemetery will be in the spring.
