Jennie A. Gryga, 88, formerly of Hawkins, WI, died Monday, November 8, 2021 at the Ladysmith Nursing Home in Ladysmith, WI.

Jennie is survived by daughters: Theresa (Jim) Kuchta of Conrath, WI, and Susan Knutson of Crookston, MN, sons: David (Bonnie) Gryga of Conrath, Larry Gryga & Liz Wilkes of Hawkins, Steve (Lana) Gryga of Hawkins, Stanley Gryga & Linda Varga of Sheldon, WI and Kenneth Gryga of Ladysmith, 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and sisters: Lottie Carter of Lindenhurst, Il and Helen McHugh of Downers Grove, IL. She is also survived by her companion Jan Drangsholt.

She was preceded in death by her parents: John & Mary (Foremski) Sokolowski, her husband: Adam Gryga, brothers: Tony, Harry, Eddie, Wally and Peter Sokolowski and sisters: Ann Kopera, Josie Lazar, Sophie Berryhill, Mary Kuznar and Elaine Halverson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 12:00 noon at St. Mary's Catholic Church Southfork with Fr. Papi Reddy Yeruva Celebrating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Hawkins at a later date. A visitation will be held on Friday morning at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the start of the mass.
