JoAnn K. Flater 81, passed away on Thursday; March 2nd, 2017 at her home in Holcombe on The Chippewa River.

She is survived by her husband Harold "Tubby", a daughter and 2 sons: Jane & Dan Joy of Peshtigo, Jim & Paula of Joe & Dawn and her honorary son Steve Folgate - all of Holcombe.

JoAnn is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers; Monte & Char Klund of Holcombe, Fritz & Deb Klund of Bruce, a brother in law Harry Speigel of Cadott and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Christian Funeral will be held on Friday; March 10th, 2017 at 5:00 PM at St. Francis of Assisi Church on the Flambeau with Deacon Craig Voldberg officiating. Burial will be in The Flambeau Cemetery. The Flater Family will receive friends at the Church from 3:00 PM until service time.

There will be a Memorial Service / Celebration of Life Gathering at 2:00 PM on Saturday; April 29th, 2017 at Flater's Resort at the junction of The Chippewa and Flambeau Rivers (The Point) with food and drinks to follow.
