Jody led a life of astounding love, kindness and generosity, she devoted her life to the love and care of her family.
Jody J. Anderson, 70, of Ladysmith, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at home on August 27, 2026 after her fight against triple negative breast cancer, she was Tough As Nails, “TAN”
Jody was born November 8, 1955 in Hustisford, the cherished daughter of Floyd and Valorie June Zwieg. Jody married Terry Allen Anderson on June 18, 1983 in a beautiful backyard wedding at the Zwieg family home in West Allis. She is survived by their son, Zachery Webster Anderson (Kaitlin Packard), Menomonee Falls, stepson Cory James Anderson, West Allis, and step granddaughter Adeline Scout Anderson, Slinger.
Jody led a life of astounding love, kindness and generosity, she devoted her life to the love and care of her family. She put everyone else first, she was the “Hostess with the Mostess” catering to family occasions big or small with delicious food, snacks, drinks, gift bags, decorations, full of fun. She always ensured family & guests were fed and taken care of. She brought joy to everyone around her, especially her beloved husband. Jody and Terry moved to Ladysmith in 2013 after she retired from a 40-year career at Northwestern Mutual Life. They shared each day together enjoying the property, exploring the woods and listening to the river. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Additionally survived by brothers Paul (Jane Sobieski) Zwieg, Hugh (Pamela Schueler) Zwieg, and Bradley Zwieg (Lisa Sheridan), Nephews, Brian (Kelly Blackburn) Zwieg, Brennan (Yvette Kovalevsky) Zwieg, Nathan Zwieg, Nieces, Kara Wollmering née Zwieg (Michael), Andrea Myers née Zwieg (Chris), Erika Hamilton née Anderson, Sara Spaulding née Anderson (Dan), Calliya Sheridan.

A celebration of Jody’s life will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park Saturday September 12, 2026, Visitation at 1:00pm with 2:00pm Service and Entombment to follow.
