John A. Davis, 77 of Kennan, died on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau.

John was a dairy farmer in Wisconsin and Washington and was also a logger in Washington. He was a marine diver for the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and was a construction worker.

He is survived by three sons, Thomas, John, and Adam and a daughter, Pamala, from his first marriage and three sons, Jacob, Justin, and Joseph from his second marriage;  eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Stanley (Sonja) Davis, James (Elane) Davis, and Mike Davis all of Washington; and five sisters Lora (Steve) Wood, Sharon (Rich) Hankinson, Pegg (Ken) Van Buskirk, Marilyn Davis and Jacquelyn (Ray) Mastel all of Washington.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at New Hope Baptist Church in Kennan, WI.  A time of visitation will be held one hour prior at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m.  Pastor Jonn Morrow will officiate.
