John Mason Terrill, 75 of Ladysmith, died on Friday, August 11, 2023 at Marshfield Medical Center-Ladysmith, after a six-year battle with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.

He is survived by his brother, Richard (Linda) Terrill of New Hope, Minn.; his stepdaughters Jill Tepler (partner Bill Galetka) of Eau Claire and Marena (Mark) Michielson of Ladysmith; his stepson Christopher Tepler (partner Andy Kylan) of Orlando, Fla.; grandchildren Sawyer and Croix Michielson of Ladysmith; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Carleton & Gladys (Schaefer) Terrill and his former wife, Kathy.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 29, 2023 at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith. There will be a visitation before the service from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in John's name may be made to the Rusk County Historical Society or the Wildlife Restoration Association.
