June K. Zelinski

June Kay Zelinski, age 71, of Ladysmith, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at VitaCare in Ladysmith.

June was born on November 18, 1954, in Park Falls, to Raymond and Lucille (Jiskra) Novak. She was raised in Bruce and made Ladysmith her home for the past 29 years.

Above all else, June treasured the time she spent with her family and friends. She had a warm, joyful spirit that made everyone around her feel welcome, and her kind heart and infectious smile will be deeply missed. Whether she was enjoying the company of those she loved, snacking on her favorite Munchos or Cheetos, or watching one of her favorite Lifetime shows or movies, June found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She will be remembered as a lovable woman whose laughter and caring nature brightened the lives of all who knew her.

June is survived by her 2 children; Joey (Amanda) Novak of Ladysmith and Jackie Bentley (Brad Ewer) of Ladysmith. She was a proud grandmother to 7 grandchildren.

She is also survived by her brother, Bill Novak of Mellen; her sisters, Barb Rudnicki of Chetek, Bonnie (Ronnie) Prorok of Bruce, and Linda Novak of Ladysmith along with many close relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Lucille Novak.

A celebration of June's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the Beachview Pavilion in Memorial Park in Ladysmith. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor her life and share memories. All are welcome.
