Kevin James Ewert, age 57, of Radisson, Wisconsin passed away peacefully at home after a 3-month battle of metastatic cancer on Sunday, April 19, 2026.
Kevin was born on December 14, 1968, to Gerhardt and Ruth (Peterson) Ewert of Ojibwa, Wisconsin. He lived and grew up in the area and attended Winter High School. Kevin worked various jobs throughout his life and was most recently employed at Weather Shield/Pella Corporation in Ladysmith, Wisconsin.
Kevin passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, loyalty, and deep devotion to his family. He was a man who lived with a full heart and unwavering commitment to the people he cared about the most.
Kevin shared a special and meaningful chapter of his life with his significant other, Linda, who stood faithfully by his side until the very end. Over the past six years, they built a bond filled with love, companionship, and countless cherished memories.
Though Kevin did not have children of his own, he was truly a family man through and through. He poured his love, time, and energy into his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He was a constant presence in their lives offering support, laughter, and guidance. He will forever be remembered for the role he played in shaping so many lives.
Kevin is survived by his significant other and love of his life, Linda Irwin of Radisson, WI, his siblings, Mike Ewert of Radisson, WI; Roxanne (Mike) Oldeen of Radisson, WI; Roger Ewert of Ojibwa, WI; Deb Longly of Radisson, WI; Judy Lessard of Hayward, WI; Brenda Ewert of Holcombe, WI; many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Gerhardt & Ruth Ewert of Ojibwa, WI, brother Rodney Ewert of Ojibwa, WI, and brother-in-law DuWayne Longly of Radisson, WI.
He will be remembered for his generous spirit, steady presence, and the genuine care he showed to everyone, fortunate enough to know him. His absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all who loved him.
The family will be planning a celebration of life for Kevin on a future date.
