Obituary
Knute Rands 93 of Ladysmith; died on Sunday; January 22nd, 2017 at the Rusk County Memorial Hospital in Ladysmith.
He is survived by his wife Esther and 3 children: Susan & Dave Ley of Richmond, VA; Mary & Chris Geiser of Brookfield and Bill & Yvonne of Ladysmith.
Knute is also survived by 8 grandchildren: Beth Blackwood, John Barfknecht, Ryan, Rachel, Sarah and Holly Rands, Emma and Elizabeth Geiser and 3 great-grandchildren: Zoey, Franny and Nicholas Miegel.
A Memorial Service for Knute Rands will be held on Friday; January 27th, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Hope Lutheran Church in Ladysmith with Rev. Dwight Hanson officiating. The Rands Family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Thursday at the Nash - Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith and also on Friday at the Church prior to service time.
The Ladysmith Veteran's Association will provide Military Honors at the Church following the service.
IN LIEU OF FLOWERS: Memorials in the name of Knute Rands are requested for The Safe Hunters of Tomorrow - "S.H.O.T." Program of Rusk County. They may be sent to P.O. Box C in Ladysmith.
