Larry P. Kroening, 65 of Ladysmith, died on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at home surrounded by family following a 9-month battle with Bulbar ALS.

He is survived by his wife Missy, his father Paul, 3 sons; Paul (Jasmine) Kroening and their daughter KayLynn of Withee, Austin (Micaela Hopkins) Kroening of Bruce and Brandon Kroening of Ladysmith, 1 brother; Dan (Debbie) Kroening of Ladysmith, 2 sisters; Donna (Rick Dalton) Kroening of Marshfield and Wendy Kroening, 2 nieces; Lauren Kroening and Shelby Luethi, 7 great-nieces & nephews, his mother & father-in law; Tom & Kathy (Hecker) Leonard and a brother-in-law; Willy Hecker. Preceded in death by his Mom, Helen (Stigen) Kroening, Great-niece Wrenlee Shimko and Father-in-law Bill Hecker.

Larry's request was to be cremated with no services.
