Laurie Sue Fink

Laurie Sue Fink, age 66, of Tony, passed away peacefully at her home on August 26, 2026. She was born on October 13, 1959, in Ladysmith, to Alfred and Shirley (Gorsegner) Fink of Glen Flora.

Laurie worked at a variety of jobs throughout her life. She began working at the Edming covered wagon factory before attending college to study computers. She later worked at Allen-Bradley and held several other jobs before eventually finding her way to farming. She then worked as a milkmaid at the Zunker Dairy Farms. Laurie spent 17 years with her partner, Bill Huffman, before his passing.

Laurie had a special love for animals, especially her dog, Ruger. She also enjoyed the outdoors, nature and the simple pleasures of life.

Laurie is survived by her sisters, Kathy Fink of Ladysmith and Sheree Huffman of Tony; along with her aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Gary Fink; her brother-in-law, George Huffman; and her lifelong partner, Bill Huffman.

A memorial service for Laurie will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Glen Flora, with Pastor Ray Rogers officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. A time of fellowship will follow the service in the church basement.
