Linda "Henny" K. (Ridout) Hennekens, 71 of Ladysmith, passed away after a 3 month-courageous battle with cancer at her home surrounded by loved ones on Friday, December 1, 2023.

She is survived by her daughter; Heidi L. (Ronald) Rubenzer, 2 granddaughters; Bree Rubenzer (Isaac Sundermeyer) and Zoe Rubenzer, 3 brothers; Tom (Sharon) Ridout of Weyerhaeuser, Bob (Jan McMannes) Ridout of Dodgeville and Don (Bart) Ridout of Coon Rapids, MN and 1 sister; Carol (John) Weyek of Milwaukee.

She was preceded in death by her husband Fred on February 14, 2019, parents; Cy & Verna (Rozak) Ridout and 2 sisters; Gert Colbeth and Dorie Salewski.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Ladysmith with Fr. Papi Reddy Yeruva and Deacons Craig Voldberg and Doug Sorenson officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Linda's name may be made to the Rusk County Lighthouse Shelter.
